What Makes Wild Pepper Distinctive?

Unlike standard black pepper, Voatsiperifery is a distinctive pepper variety native to Madagascar.

From Hand Harvest to Whole Berry

Voatsiperifery pepper is hand-harvested between August and December.

After harvesting, the berries are sun-dried in two stages. First, they are dried for 1–2 days to separate the berries from their stems and bunches. They are then dried for another 14–20 days to ensure more even drying.

Once dried, the whole berries are sorted and prepared for packaging, ready for use in seasoning blends, gourmet cooking and food manufacturing.

A Structured Approach

Each batch undergoes quality checks before shipment. The berries are inspected for colour, firmness, uniformity and foreign matter. After sorting, they are re-checked at the warehouse and passed through metal detection to identify unwanted metal particles.

The product is then conditioned and packaged in Antananarivo according to each order's requirements.
